The « FLE Quality Seal » : an official guarantee
The French foreign Language quality » Label is the result of a quality assurance process initiated by three French ministries: Ministry for National Education, Higher Education and Research, Ministry of Culture and Communication and the Ministry for Foreign Affairs and International Development. All are members of the labelling interministerial committee, which awards the certification and audits centres every 4 years.
The Objectives of the “FLE Quality Seal”
The French foreign Language quality » Label was created by presidential decree in 2007 to identify, recognize and promote “French as a Foreign Language” centres where the quality of language training and services is essentially guaranteed.
The aim is to establish in the FLE centers a quality assurance process to build public confidence, help companies and institutions, the professional training financing organizations (OPCA), diplomatic posts and the French network of institutes and French Alliances Francaises to prescribe reliable access to French classes a liable French course offer depending on the demand, public requirements and student profile.
The “FLE Quality Seal” also aims to support the school in developing a gradual approach in the quality of the services delivered. The Alliance Française Strasbourg Europe fully participates in this continuous and regular quality procedures and aims at the total satisfaction of its learners with a high quality and excellence of its services and its friendly welcome.
Attribution of the label
The label is attributed, after approval from the Interministerial Commission for labeling, for a period of 4 years.
Star-ratings are assigned for each category: the Alliance Française Strasbourg Europe obtained 3 stars ***: the quality level is very satisfying in all categories, namely:
- Courses offered: in terms of flexibility, content, experience, knowledge and teaching expertise
- Management of human resources and management of adapted profile of teaching and administrative staff
- Quality of its communication, information dissemination and the reception given to learners
- Quality of premises that are available, their maintenance, accessibility and location in the city-center.
- Budgetary and financial management of the and its educational investment plans
