French test in Strasbourg : TCF IRN and TP
The Alliance Française Strasbourg Europe is an accredited center and manages the taking of national and internationally recognized exams. Whether you wish to acquire the French residency card, French nationality or validate the A1 level within the framework of the OFII course, the Alliance Française Strasbourg Europe organizes every month national and internationally recognized tests including the TCF.
We offer preparation courses for the TCF IRN, with teachers who are qualified to take and correct this exam.
The TCF (Test de Connaissance du Français) is an evaluation of your level in French at a given time. It is valid for 2 years.
The Alliance Française Strasbourg Europe offers 2 versions of the TCF: the TCF Intégration, Résidence et Nationalité (TCF IRN) and the TCF Tout Public (TCF TP).
The IRN (Integration, Residence and Nationality) version of the Test de connaissance du Français is a certification authorized by the prefectures of France. This certificate of French language level is valid for 2 years for naturalization applications (level B1), for obtaining a long-stay resident card from the Prefecture (level A2), or for validation of level A1 as part of the OFII citizen program.

In order to evaluate your level in French across all levels in oral comprehension, written comprehension, knowledge of the language, and optionally in oral and written expression, take the Test de Connaissance en Français Tout Public. A level certificate will be issued to you, ranging from level A1 to C2.
The TCF is an evaluation of your level in French at a given time. It is valid for 2 years.

The Alliance Française Strasbourg Europe offers preparation courses for the TCF IRN (Test de Connaissance du Français version Intégration, Résidence et Nationalité) over 2 sessions of 2 hours (2 evenings or 2 afternoons over a week, i.e. 4 hours of preparation courses).
This preparation will allow you to familiarize yourself with the format of the test and to practice the different parts of it.
Preparation for the exam required for the naturalization application (level B1), for obtaining a long-stay resident card from the Prefecture (level A2), or for the validation of the level A1 within the framework of the OFII citizen course.
